After deadly fighting yesterday, Moyale experienced a brief calm as Somali regional forces reportedly took control of parts of the town and raised their flag. Reports now indicate that heavy clashes with Oromia forces have shifted toward East Borana Zone. The violence has reportedly caused multiple deaths and injured 20 civilians, while banking, transport and schools remain disrupted.
