📍 Tigray forces estimate federal troop deployment. An estimated 75,000 to 85,000 Ethiopian federal government soldiers have entered Tigray, according to Dr Abraham Hagos,head of Tigray’s Communications Bureau.
📍 Eritrean media alleges massive intelligence leak. An Eritrean social media outlet close to national intelligence services claims that over 10 senior Tigrayan officials leaked a 273-page confidential military intelligence document of Tigray's forces to Ethiopia’s ruling Prosperity Party in Addis Ababa.
📍 Renewed border clashes paralyse Moyale. Violent territorial disputes between the Oromia and Somali regions have erupted again in Moyale. Gunfire has paralysed local businesses, halted transport and closed the main Ethiopia–Kenya highway, forcing displaced families to flee across the border into Kenya as homes and fuel stations burn.

Coordinated attacks launched on October 19 in Gida Ayana and Gida Kiramu districts have destroyed three villages (Ali, Abajo and Wedessa Dima kebeles) and displaced thousands.
